Carmen Hornbostel, born 1991 near Hamburg, Germany, studied psychology at the Georg-August University of Göttingen and the University of Seville. During her studies she worked at the Institute of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology. After her studies she worked as a dramaturgy assistant in a production of The Glass Menagerie (directed by Stephan Kimmig) at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and afterwards for the dramaturgy/editing of the Theatertreffen Berlin 2017. She has been working for the IIPM – International Institute of Political Murder since May 2017. She worked as a dramaturgical collaborator in Milo Rau’s General Assembly in Berlin and on La Reprise (The Recovery). At NTGent, she works as a dramaturge and as the personal assistant of the artistic director.
