
Manuela Azevedo (°1970) is a Portuguese musician. She graduated from the University of Coimbra in Law. Simultaneously, she took a music education in piano. In 1992, Azevedo founded the pop-rock band Clã with Hélder Gonçalves, among others, where she is still the lead singer. Their debut album in 1996, LusoQUALQUERcoisa, marked the beginning of a fruitful musical career: Clã released 9 studio albums and 2 live albums over the years.
No Yogurt for the Dead - Histoire(s) du Théâtre VI is the second collaboration of Azevedo with Tiago Rodrigues: she previously collaborated with Hélder Gonçalves on the performance La Cerisaie, in which they performed live music on stage.
