Rein Decoodt studied theatre at the Kleine Academie in Brussels and went on to study the Michael Chekhov acting technique in Rome and New York, among other places. She has performed in various theatre productions, including Kung Fu and Youth Rules/Confusion Reigns (Victoria), De Damen (Ceremonia), Legal/Illegal (Los Angeles Poverty Department & Unie der Zorgelozen) and Katrina, the residents (CAMPO).

In 2009, she had an NAH, a non-natural brain injury. Together with Dirk Pauwels she created the theatre monologue TERUG! and wrote the book NaHLeven.

In the season 2019-2020 she will perform in Anatomy of pain by Lies Pauwels.
