Casting call: people in menopause
| 30 January 2025When the Bleeding Stops by Lovísa Ósk Gunnarsdóttir addresses the silence, the taboo that seems to surround menopause, as well as personal experiences of ageing. The performative piece reveals a world of vulnerability, shame, empathy and humour. It takes us into the private lives of several individuals and delves into the many layers of (female) experiences associated with menopause. When the Bleeding Stops celebrates life in all its phases!
