NTGent presents new season with event on Midsummer Night| 7 June 2021
Finally a theatre season as it should be: with a live audience. That is the wonderful prospect for the 2021-2022 season, which starts in September. This autumn NTGent presents no less than five brand new productions of its own, alongside a fantastic mix of reprises, guest performances and a series of cutting edge debates.
Can't wait? Neither can we. On Thursday 24 June, we present our Midsummer Night's Stream, a mix of events online and live in the city that will tell you all you want to know about our programme from September to December.
WHAT'S ON THAT DAY?
- 10am: live yoga session with Luk Perceval
We start the day with a yoga session led by none other than Luk Perceval, director of 'Yellow' and experienced yogi. A limited number of people can attend this live in the garden of the Dr Guislain Museum.
- 2 pm: performance Linda Leah
Lindah Leah is one of the actresses from 'Killjoy Quiz', a play about the power of language. In the Ghent library De Krook she will give a performance based on the show.
- 8 pm: season's presentation by Milo Rau
Artistic director Milo Rau receives makers and staff members of NTGent live in the Minnemeers, and goes on a journey with them (thanks to the wonders of modern technology). A limited number of people can attend.
On our website both the performances and the season's presentation can be watched via a livestream on an interactive map of Ghent.
