People with autism

Are you coming to NTGent as a person with autism (or as a supervisor of)? Then download one of our Visual Stories.

A Visual Story is a tool (originally developed as Social Story) that describes a social situation with the aim of providing insight into social norms. The story corresponds to the specific situation of a person with autism. We have developed Visual Stories about attending a theatre performance and about following a guided tour.

All Visual Stories can be used in preparation for a visit to NTGent, both individually and in a class/group context. Visual Stories were initially developed for children with autism spectrum disorder but can be freely used by any one who benefits from them.

Currently only available in Dutch.
