Bog.2
Ten years ago, Lisa Verbelen, Sanne Vanderbruggen, Judith de Joode and Benjamin Moen brought the performance BOG. an attempt to restructure life into life. It was an ambitious attempt to capture the full spectrum of life and all its complexity, and it was also this performance that gave the group its name.
Now, in 2023, the moment has arrived. Exactly a decade after their first performance, BOG. presents the long-awaited second part of their life's work on human existence. In a world that has changed, with bodies that have aged, children born, relatives that have died, and perspectives that have shifted, four thirty-somethings once again venture into the challenge of understanding and restructuring life.
‘’BOG.2‘ makes the weight of ten elapsed years keenly felt.’Marijn Lems in NRC (★★★)
The desire for simple overview has faded, and in its place has emerged the urge to chart life's transformations. In a performance that is both musical and linguistic, BOG. delves into the multiplicity of human experiences in search of new structures in this constantly changing existence.
