Albumdebuut E34 - DE AFVAL
In between making theatre, Jesse Vandamme (director at Werktoneel) and Laurens Mannaerts (sound designer at Werktoneel) wrote as a new formed band 'E34' a Dutch album, 'De afval', which they will perform live for the first time together with some first-class musicians.
Songs with the immediacy of a theatrical experience. Themes that expand on the work of Werktoneel.
The album's title, De Afval, refers to renegades, to falling away from something. Through various characters who radicalise in one way or another, and a love story developing in an increasingly uncertain future the image of a tilting sense of time emerges.
