Our priority is to provide teachers, educators, group leaders, etc. with a teaching folder that they can use before a visit to our theatre.

When you book tickets for 20 or more people, you enter at reduced price. Schools are always very welcome.
Tickets for groups and schools can only be booked via publiekswerking@ntgent.be
If you come as a group of 20 people or more, you will benefit from our reduced rates.
Schools are welcome at the evening performances. A ticket costs 13 euros. For every 15 tickets, one supervisor gets a free ticket. Download the subscription form for schools below.

Soak up the fresh air during a theater walk through Ghent. We stop at places that have been important for Dutch-speaking theater in Belgium.
During this two kilometre walk you will cross the city centre of Ghent. We offer two theatre walks:
- A theatre walk about Jan-Frans Willems.
- A theatre walk about Maurice Maeterlinck.
A theatre tour takes about 150 minutes with a maximum of 25 participants.

A wealth of theatre brochures and printed plays.

A wealth of theatre brochures and printed plays.
You can find all the information and visual material from NTGent performances from 1965 to the present.
You can also come to us for background information and texts on the history of theatre or for biographies. Of course, the NTGent publications such as the lustrum books (books published on special anniversaries) and the theatre pocket dictionary are also in the library.
From this library (and our archive) we occasionally select material that suits one of the current productions. We present that material to you in the corridors of our theatre.
The library is open to the public on Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm or by appointment, via:

An exclusive introduction or rather an exclusive post-show dicussion? We have both!
As a school or group, you can get an exclusive introduction or an exclusive post-show discussion at a location that’s convenient for you. We will gladly create one tailored to your group. We start from your target group and their prior knowledge and adjust our introduction accordingly.
It will take about 50 minutes and can be requested by sending an e-mail to publiekswerking@ntgent.be.

Theatre in the classroom
This is where actors exchange their stage for a classroom.

This is where actors exchange their stage for a classroom.
Our actors report to an ordinary classroom and prove that you can do a fine piece of theater there too! In a playful and interactive performance, they teach the students (and their teacher) all about the theater code, the theater script, theater terminology and what you need to be able to make theater. Theater in the Classroom is enjoyed by 2nd and 3rd grade secondary students, but it turned out that adults enjoy this theater game hard too!
Practical:
Target group: 2nd and 3rd grade classes. Always at your school, in a classroom, to a single class group. No technical equipment required. approx 40'

Do you want to learn everything about theatre and get your hands on it yourself?
Production Workshop
Feel like diving deeper into the background of the performance? While attending the rehearsal process, our theatre teachers put together a workshop, which is an ideal introduction for any interested party.
Basics workshop
Do you want to become an actor yourself? Come to our theatre workshop first. There you learn the basics of theatre as a craft.
Practical
A workshop takes about two and a half hours and is aimed at groups of up to 25 participants. The workshop can be organised in NTGent or at a location convenient for you.

Guided tours
Let us take you on a discovery tour of the theatre.

Let us take you on a discovery tour of the theatre.
There are guided tours for all ages and interests. On request, we will be happy to work out a tailor-made tour.
In addition, the tour will also be made accessible to everyone: assistance with a Flemish Sign Language interpreter,adapted to wheelchair users, etc.
