Lesmap

Prepare your group for their theatre visit with our lesson folders.

Our priority is to provide teachers, educators, group leaders, etc. with a teaching folder that they can use to prepare their supporters for a visit to the theatre.

We gauge expectations, motifs and themes in advance, and afterwards we discuss the theatre images and drawing language.

Lesson folders can be downloaded free of charge from the production pages of our website (only in Dutch).

Spiegelproject

Mirror Projects

We are collaborating with a group to adapt one of our productions.

Spiegelproject

We are collaborating with a group to adapt one of our productions.

Every two years, NTGent venues itself to a thorough and major metamorphosis of one of its productions. This format offers the possibility to a group to make an adaptation of one of the NTGent productions. The leadership is in hands of the own NTGent ensemble. Before we go into rehearsal, a thorough introduction of the house is on the agenda.

However, a mirror project is also possible on a smaller scale. An NTGent drama teacher then works through a few workshops to a spectacular show moment. Are you interested as a school or group in a small or large mirror project? Contact us at publiekswerking@ntgent.be.

You can also come to us for background information and texts on the history of theatre or for biographies. Of course, the NTGent publications such as the lustrum books (books published on special anniversaries) and the theatre pocket dictionary are also in the library.

From this library (and our archive) we occasionally select material that suits one of the current productions. We present that material to you in the corridors of our theatre.

This is where actors exchange their stage for a classroom.

Actors Debbie Crommelinck and Stijn Vervoort show up in an ordinary classroom and prove that you can perform a nice piece of theatre there too! In a playful and interactive performance, they teach the pupils (and their teacher) all about the code of conduct in a theatre, the script, theatre terminology and everything you need to be able to make theatre. Theatre in the classroom is enjoyed by students of the 2nd and 3rd grade of secondary school, but it turns out that adults also enjoy this theatre performance very much! Duration: Approximately 40 minutes

NTGent organises this together with Toneelgroep Maastricht.

Practical:

Target group: 2nd and 3rd grade classes. Always at your school, in a classroom, to a single class group. No technical equipment required.

Price: €150 + 6% VAT
