With Summit, Ontroerend Goed creates a play about power and decisions. At this unusual gathering, every choice has consequences, now and later. Find out how your decisions will influence this and future productions. Because what is decided in Summit Ghent will determine Summit Singapore and so on.
Words constitute reality. Language has weight. The play shows how mechanisms of power are surprisingly similar at all levels. How do you deal with choices you have made in the past? What do you pass on? Is it still possible to intervene?
Summit is an experience that causes friction. Ontroerend Goed, masterful at turning theatre conventions upside down, makes you reflect on the consequences of decisions, on both short and long term. Personal interest or collective responsibility: exactly what weighs up?
