Joost Maaskant (1984) is a voice artist, musician, producer and performer. With his loop station voice art act Maask, he has played more than 400 shows at almost every Dutch festival and abroad. He is also a performer in several shows, including Bezette Stad  by Ruud Gielens (KVS Brussels), Kuzikiliza  by Pitcho Womba Konga (Arsenaal/Lazarus Mechelen) and Boef bij De Maan  (Mechelen). As a composer, Maaskant designed sound for performances such as the Permanent Destruction triptych  and Atropa by Naomi Velissariou (Theater Utrecht) and The Clowns Convention  by Theatergroep Wunderbaum (Theater Rotterdam).
