NTGENT COLLECTS PERSONAL DATA IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

1. The use of cookies

During a visit to the site, cookies may be placed on the hard disk of your computer and this only in order to better adapt the site to the needs of returning visitors. The cookies make the webshop work for tickets, keep track of your order in the shopping basket and allow the computer to recognise you as a customer the next time you order.
These mini files or cookies are not used to track your browsing behaviour on other websites. Your internet browser allows you to prevent the use of cookies, to receive a warning when a cookie is installed or to remove the cookies from your hard disk afterwards. Please consult the help function of your internet browser for this. Please note that certain functionalities of the website will no longer work if you disable cookies.
NTGent may collect anonymous or aggregated data of a non-personal nature, such as browser type or IP address, the operating system you use or the domain name of the website via which you arrived at our website or via which you leave it. This enables us to permanently optimise our website.

2. Registration via ticket purchase

When you purchase a ticket, some personal data are registered and kept in the CRM of the ticket system. Your e-mail address is only used to ensure the processing of your ticket and to keep you informed of any event-related information. If you wish to receive targeted promotional mails, newsletters or printed matter from NTGent, you can give your explicit permission for this during your ticket purchase. Two years after your registration we will contact you with a request to reconfirm your registration(s).

4. Public images

The NTGent buildings are under continuous camera surveillance for security reasons.
A photographer is present during some of our activities. These pictures may be published on our website or via social media. These are mainly images of the performers and atmospheric photos of the audience. Sporadically, you as a spectator may be recognisable in one of the photos. All photos are stored on NTGent's secure servers.
Some activities are filmed. These images are afterwards edited into promotional videos. These may be published on the website, on Facebook, via Instagram or twitter, via a newsletter and/or on NTGent's vimeo channel*. Audiences may be recognised on these, although faces are not targeted.

If you wish to have images of yourself removed, please contact us at info@ntgent.be or +32 (0)9 225 01 01.
