Theatre tablet
Since the 2019-2020 season, NTGent has been using the Theatre Tablet to make performances integrally accessible.
Via the tablet, we offer (pre-recorded) audio description, (pre-recorded) Flemish Sign Language and/or surtitles in a variety of languages (including NL+, which is continuous Dutch surtitling with mention of auditory elements from the performance).
You can reserve a tablet when buying your ticket. Before you pay, you get the chance to add a free tablet to your order.
During season 23-24 NTGent wants to offer the Theatre Tablet with all new NTGent creations, as well as with some reprises of its own productions.
