Because understanding the importance of pleasure, whether physical, emotional or intellectual, is an insight that comes with three decades of life experience. It requires openness and curiosity, but fortunately we are not alone.
Once again, we can count on the tantalising pens of leading writers from home and abroad. Six authors perform in a theatrical setting, flanked by musicians, film or dancers. The presenter Charlotte Remarque is joined by Stefan Hertmans, Charlotte Van den Broeck and other writers.
For three decades, Saint Amour has been a constant in the month of Valentine's Day, with love as a central guest, appearing differently each time. Who but writers know how to sing the praises of love in all its forms? Revelations and routinarians read a striking excerpt from their own work, often recently issued.
