Overlijden Lieven Decaluwe

Lieven was chairman and member of the Board of Directors of NTGent from 2002 to 2020. He built a bridge between the board and the house and showed tremendous commitment to the productions. His heart beat for the theatre and he brought an enormous commitment for art, culture and the city. "You could regularly find the chairman in the theatre hall, or on the terrace. An amiable man, and very committed to the house," NTGent staff said.

He died of the effects of cancer, surrounded by his loved ones.
Lieven Decaluwe will be missed by many.
