Revolutionary Road
Revolutionary Road
07.09.25 — 08.09.25In Revolutionary Road, we meet April and Frank Wheeler, a couple who seemingly have it all: a beautiful home, children, careers, and love. Determined not to slip into a narrow, conformist life, they dream of radically changing course and moving to Paris. But when their dream collides with reality, frustration and disappointment turn into mutual reproach, and their love becomes a nightmare. This adaptation of Richard Yates’ novel explores how difficult it is to break free from societal expectations—and how failure, love, and anger often go hand in hand.
STAN and De Roovers bring this raw story about ambition, failure, and social pressure to life with Ivana Noa and Flor Van Severen as Frank and April. Jolente De Keersmaeker and Robby Cleiren take on the remaining roles. Together, they bring Yates’ razor-sharp dialogue to the stage in a performance that cuts deep, collides, and lingers.

The fact that both generations find each other so easily must have something to do with their shared love of text theatre and the universal themes that are explored. This is actor's theatre at its best
