Success performances return to NTGent
| 12 October 2023In Antigone in the Amazon, "uncompromising theatre art" according to Volkskrant (****), director and house maker Milo Rau, together with Brazilian activists, transports the Greek resistance heroine to the Amazon forest, where capitalism is devouring nature and people unabated. Antigone in the Amazon is a call to resistance that has reverberated throughout Europe since its world premiere in Ghent in May this year.
