From the Amazon to Australia!

NTGent travels the world in March. From the Australian premiere of a play about the Amazon forest to a Finnish festival dedicated to the "groundbreaking" theatre of the city of Ghent!

🦘🐨 We are as excited as a jolly kangaroo to announce that Antigone in the Amazon, the latest NTGent-performance directed by house artist Milo Rau, is part of the Adelaide Festival next month. The radically political yet poetic performance has its Australian premiere on the 15th of March, this being one of our many highlights on tour in March. 🦘🐨

❄ Starting on the 5th of March, the &FEST-festival in Espoo, Finland, focuses on the best theatre from the "united, offbeat and groundbreaking" city of Ghent. Antigone in the Amazon, ONE SONG - HDT IV (Miet Warlop & NTGent) and Funeral  from Ontroerend Goed, artist in residence at NTGent, shine on the programme. ❄

In total, NTGent has no less than thirty tour dates in March. The Interrogation tours in Belgium and the Netherlands, house artist Luanda Casella performs in Brussels and Antwerp with Elektra Unbound  and Short of Lying.
