Sit down and watch this hesitant and restless, capricious and ephemeral work. A diorama, a cabinet of curiosities, a 'Wunderkammer'.
Notallwhowanderarelost was selected for the Theaterfestival 2014: “This production is a crystal-clear response to the hectic chaos and all too spectacular speed of our society, glimmering with quiet and stillness. (...) notallwhowanderarelost is like an invigorating walk in nature (surrounded by huge numbers of songbirds), full of subtle humour and kicking back at theatrical conventions. After the walk, you suddenly realise how powerful slowness and silence are. Thanks to the magic of the theatre.”
Notallwhowanderarelost has already been seen in Belgium, the Netherlands, Estonia, Austria, Ireland, Portugal, France and Germany. Benjamin Verdonck, theatremaker, writer and visual artist, was the only Belgian invited to Avignon Festival 2015 with this production.
"This is like a work by Miró, playful and profound."Tuur Devens - Theaterkrant ****
"With a minimum of means, Verdonck elicits a maximum of theatre pleasure."Els Van Steenberghe - Knack Focus
