Knaus

If God is dead and heaven is empty, KNAUS searches for what matters in this universe. We see a man who tries to stay on his feet between nappies and the stars, asking himself: ‘Who am I?’ The monologue homes in mercilessly on our deep need to be seen as human beings.
Inspired by this stimulating material, KNAUS was created by monologue virtuoso Valentijn Dhaenens (DegrotemonD, DeKleineOorlog) and Alexia Leysen (winner of the Dioraphte Cement Prize for upcoming theatre talent). They searched for the universal value and subtly blended it with glimpses of their own struggles and desires.
KNAUS, praised for its impressive acting, movingly beautiful scenography and rock-solid script, has already touched the hearts of many audience members.
